All occupants were out of the structure prior to fire department arrival. One occupant was transported to a local hospital for treatment of smoke inhalation, and was later released.
The structure is currently habitable and the residents did not need the assistance of the Red Cross. The home did not have any working smoke alarms.
SCFR was assisted on scene by the Fredericksburg Fire Department. The Stafford County Fire Marshal’s Office determined the fire was accidental and electrical in nature.
